Peoples experience with induced ?

So I went into hospital this morning due to reduced movements and leaking. I was told my waters had gone and did I know when.. assuming yesterday afternoon as that’s when I’ve been having to keep wiping and wearing a liner. I’ve had period cramps this morning but that’s it. I did have a sweep on Monday and had irregular contractions all week which just went away on Wednesday.

I had to have a covid swab this morning 🤮and awaiting a phone call for labour & delivery to give me a time this afternoon to go and be induced.

I am SO NERVOUS! I didn’t really want to be induced, I went into labour naturally with my first! my front waters went and was getting contractions they just had to pop my back waters and I had him like 6 hours later.

I really don’t know what to expect I have to go in on my own due to covid and wait till I’m in active labour until someone can come. Has anyone been induced before & what was it like?
