Pcos and frozen sperm

I have pcos and use letrozole to ovulate, due to medical reasons my husband had to freeze a few samples at my fertility clinic. We want to start trying for baby #2 but we need his samples when letrozole helps me this round. But my fertility doctor insisted that I have a HSG test this cycle and then next month worry about doing

IUI

(with his frozen samples). I have done a HSG before I had my first pregnancy and never was any blocking or anything, everything was completely normal. I have expressed to her that we don't want to wait long due to me having a few miscarriages and it took us 2 years to conceive our daughter. I know I need to listen to her shes the professional here not me but it bothers me that she wants us to delay everything. Has anyone ever had this problem and can give me advice? Or just help me be a little more patient. What helped for you?

Edit: I had a blood test and confirmed ovulation over a month ago but ended in a chemical is why I don't think I really need the HSG this go around. I'm going to go through with the test next week just find it unnecessary. Thank you for your comments
