How have your baby’s movements changed after 37 weeks?

Some days she just doesn’t move much, but this late in the game it kinda worries me. What are y’all feeling?

Mine has turned into more rolling and stretching. Less kicks and punches.

Doctor told me as long as you’re still getting your kick count (I think it’s 10 movements every 2 hours, I think?) then you’re fine but they do usually have less/different movements bc they have less room to move.

I am 38 weeks and have also noticed a change in movements. Some days I hardly feel him and then the next day it’s normal movement, but he’s never been super active. There are no real patterns to my baby’s movement, so it’s been tough wondering if things are okay. I’ve got it checked out before and he has been perfectly fine. I have a Doppler that I bring out on days where he is really quiet which is reassuring. I think we are in the minority though from reading these threads and talking to my friends and doctor- most babies do have a pattern of movement. But from the beginning mine never has and like I said, he has definitely slowed down.

Mine was always super active and now at 37 weeks it just feels like stretching. He seems to have quieted down slightly.

I called, mine moves, but the pattern changed.
They did monitor me and told all is well, but were happy I contacted them. So just contact and wait and see.
I think mine feels different, because they discovered, I have a lot of contractions, that I do not feel. And during the contraction, my belly goes hard and I don't feel the boy during, unless I out my hands on ny belly.

I’m 37+2 and he moves 24/7. He’s so much more active than my first! And it’s so uncomfortable because it feels like he’s rolling and he’s already measuring 7.5lbs
