How was your labor? Was it a painful delivery or a smooth one? How much time did you push ?

I am 5ft and currently 23w...Hoping to gather some experiences.

My first labor (38 weeks) was 23 hours and exhausting. My labor stalled out a few times and baby was starting to go into stress. But nevertheless he was healthy and recovery wasn’t too bad. He had a HUGE head ( 15.5 inches) and I tore really bad 🥴. He was 8.9 lbs. My second labor (preemie at 35 weeks) I did unmedicated. It was by far the best experience for me and I felt way more in control of my body and how things where going. I could feel when I needed to move or change positions or push without being coached by a million nurses all shouting. My body basically did all the pushing and she cane flying out. No tearing and i didn’t even need any medication for recovery at all. I’m 5’ as well. It really doesn’t have much to do with your stature as much as it is babies and how they are positioned, how well you push, and weather baby is cooperating.

Oh I forgot to add my second labor was weird. My waters broke at 8:30 am but I wasn’t having any contractions at all ( 3.5 cm dilate 80% effaced) I was put on Pitocin at 9:30 pm and had baby girl at 11:46pm so very short labor lol.

I'm 4'11" and all three births were natural, med-free. yes, they hurt but i think labor is supposed to hurt.first i had back labor the entire time. 9 hours.second was 3.5 hours.and third was 5 hours long.due in december with #4 and i hope labor is not too long.
