When will you start potty training?

She started pooping on the potty around 9 months so I got her potties for her bday. She wears a pull up during the day and we do a potty schedule now to get her ready. She has had dry diapers through naps and gets really proud when she goes so it hasn’t been bad. We go sit on her potty and I read her a potty training book and she goes for me about 50-60% of the time.

I'm going to wait until she shows signs of being ready. A child needs a certain leave of communication and be able to recognize they need to go. You cant rush these things. I've seen plenty of early potty trainer and if I'm honest their parents just clean up a lot more pee and poop. I'm going to take the stress out of it and watch for readiness.

When he shows signs that he wants to go on the potty. I have a toddler as well and we tried potty training early and it didn’t really work, and now that she’s a little older (3) she wants to go in the potty and wear underwear all of her own choice, she potty trained herself, it’s such a better and more natural way than constantly nagging or pressuring them to go. She also has fun underwear to choose from like Snow White, belle, mermaid. I have underwear for my son when he’s ready, it’s Lion King. I think it’s good to have underwear and a potty ready for them, maybe show them once or twice how to sit on it, and then leave it up to them to determine when they feel comfortable going on it.

I am going to wait for my daughter to show signs that she is ready. I am due with baby number 2 in January, and I will be a stay at home mom once we have this baby so that'll give me the perfect amount of time to potty train whenever baby girl is ready!

I was planning to wait until he was 2, but baby #2 will be born when he's 1.5 so I'll follow his lead and potty train as soon as he's ready, hopefully at or before 2 so we won't have two babies in diapers!

We tried around 18 months because she Express interest in using the body and she's 2.5 now and uses the potty when she feels like but still uses her diaper a decent amount too. She doesn't usually ever have pee accidents she just doesn't like pooping on the potty so that's what we're working on. I've been trying a very gentle approach to potty training and am just kind of following her lead with a little nudge here and there

We put her on the potty when she wakes up in the morning, after breakfast, and every hour/1.5hrs til bedtime. She's still not fully trained and if we miss/she wets or soils her diaper, then its nbd and we try again next time.

We’ll start around 20 months. After seeing awesome success with our first born (just turned 2) we’ll be following the OhCrap! Method again for this babe. They recommend between 20-30 months. So we will try within that age range.
