Baby registry?

Question

Can anyone share their baby registry with me? I’m a ftm and so incredibly overwhelmed. I’ve been watching YouTube videos, but I’d love to see a real registry with the brand names, etc.

Lmao so this may seem silly but this thing was the BEST THING WE GOT! No having to wash diaper cream out from under my nails every time I applied it! Also recommend getting stuff that you LO will grow into! So a bunch of 3-6 month clothes, and a BUNCH of 6-9 month stuff. It will seem like forever before they can fit into it but once they do, you’ll be so so glad to have it instead of a bunch or newborn and 3 month only clothes. I love the Burt’s Bees footie PJs, they’re light enough for warmer weather but cozy enough that you won’t be scared LO is cold. Get things that are practical, if not cute. I wish we had gotten some stain remover, I wish we had gotten some baby medicine (gas drops, infant Tylenol, etc.) along with some extra 1 Ml droppers. I’d also recommend asking for a few different types of diapers! You find out pretty quick what works for you and what doesn’t, and if you only ask for one kind then you could be stuck with something that either you or baby hate. I only asked for pampers (cause that’s what my mom friends recommended) but I ended up hating them and loving huggies!  The big ticket items I asked for were a crib mattress, a stroller and a car seat!

Baby list.com or Amazon or Target have baby registry checklists built in! So wherever you build your registry there’s probably a checklist built in. Target’s checklist is my favorite! It’s very thorough.

so i HIGHLY recommend thinking past the first 6 months of your kids life. they grow so fast that while the stuff you use when they’re little is useful, you’re moving on to the next stage of life without basically anything. i did so much research for my registry as a ftm and i still ended up returning half the stuff i asked for. i never used a pack and play, though they are very beneficial for some people. the whole diaper changing table (unless you’re in a single floor home and willing to walk to the table for EVERY change) hmm what else.. teethers of all sorts are good. the one i like the best is the baby teething tube on amazon, they sell it directly on their site too and they’re kinda pricey and i don’t remember how much the 3pk was compared to a single one, but i’d recommend the 3 because they’re so easy to lose 😭 i lost my one for like two months and finally found it and have been able to keep track of it since, and especially since my son is still using it 12 teeth later. oooh i hiiiighly recommend postpartum care on your registry. don’t be embarrassed, you’ll regret not putting them on there when you start to run out of the hospitals supplies lol tucks pads are really good too. witch hazel, the diaper/panty looking “always”-i used almost a whole pack of 19 for reference.toys, lots of toys. clothes and shoes you’ll most likely have plenty of. diapers (unless hypoallergenic) would be a no. my son wore pampers from the day he was born up until almost a week old when he developed a rash to them. any breastfeeding supplies you may need would also be a good add. the light i linked was on my original registry and i’ve used it almost every single day i love it so much.
