Baby eczema remedies!?

My little guys has been scratching the back of his head at night especially. He does a few wakings before he fully goes down but I think it’s an eczema rash that is waking him. His hair is so think that it is hard to tell. He doesn’t have an ear infection... anyone else deal with this and what have you used to help calm the night time itchiness?! Thank you!

I just started using it a few weeks ago for a bad breakout on my daughter. Also Eucerin lotion and bath products are good as well for daily use.

Aveeno has a eczema cream that is amazing you can also but some hydrocortisone cream on the hot spots twice a day until they go away and then once a day a week after they have cleared.

My son has eczema and I use the Johnson night balm for eczema in between his outbreaks and it works wonders. When he has a bad outbreak I have to use hydrocortisone

Cetaphil baby wash has helped us a lot and cortisone on a spot that’s itchy.

You can use cortisone on the head. You'll obviously have to use a bit to get it in there enough to get to the skin. We used to also just put a lot of lotion on his hair where it was bothering him.  You can try Apple cider vinegar, tea tree oil, oatmeal baths for a more natural approach. These never worked for us unfortunately.  Our derm recommended either vanicream free and clear hair wash or mustela stelatopia wash.
Ended up with a dermatologist prescription for an oil that helps with eczema since it can soak to the scalp better then cream/lotion. This has been the only thing thats worked for my sons scalp eczema after exhausting all other options first.
