Do you have an "Easy baby"?

Who here has an "easy baby"? Do you find yourself feeling guilty when you talk to other parents with more spirited children?

We went to a 1 year olds Birthday this weekend and my 8 month old just about stole the show, and I feel kind of guilty about it. My girl was bubbly and smiling, powered through missing a nap, played in the grass and was just a joy to be around (in stark contrast to the birthday girl). 
Other mothers shared their horror stories of crib-training and fussy eaters, poor temperaments and endless exhaustion...I felt badly that my experience has been so different from theirs. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but my baby is amazing! I know babies change and she won't always be this essy, but right now I'm counting my blessings.
Are there any other "easy baby" moms that are in the same boat?

I don’t know really, especially if crib training etc. is part of the criteria, because we bedshare and I just always take her cue. That way, everything is easy. But if I try to bend her to my lifestyle, instead of me meeting her way of coping with the world (because she’s only seven months!), well... I haven’t even tried!
I do wonder whether a “hard” baby is just a baby who is being made to fit certain expectations far too early 😉👍🏻🌸

It’s so hard for me because one of my twins is an angel and go with the flow and the other is so picky and clingy and whiny and HAS to have a specific amount of sleep to function/wake time to sleep through the night and it’s so sad and hard not to compare them 😩

Yes, I listen to all the horror stories of non sleeping babies at my mothers playgroup and I just nod my head and agree. Never have I said my bub has been sleeping through the night since 7 weeks old and I haven’t had a night without more than 6 hours solid sleep since.... I’m very lucky but always feel a little guilty hearing others stories!

I think a lot is a matter of perception. Some people handle the stress of a baby differently. My baby is very easy, but we also have always been very laid-back about things so I think that rubs off on here. We'll see if that changes whenever we have a 2nd!

I got two hard babies. Insane because I thought I did my time with my first 😂. But my 2nd came and was like “you have no idea”. And I know they could probably be worse. I had to sleep train my 1st at 8 months because he wasn’t even close to sleeping through the night. He had acid reflux and cried every night from 6-12 until we figured out the problem. Once we tackled sleep and reflux issues he was awesome but was not go with the flow. He’s very nap dependent and still is at 4 years old. But he wouldn’t sleep anywhere but in his crib. So going places was always hard. My 2nd was so chill at birth I was like yessss I finally got my easy baby. But when we got to 5 weeks it went down hill. He insist on being held all the time. Since 5 weeks till now I have had to practically hold this baby constantly.  He is just now starting to sit for short periods of time away from me and be content. To make it better around month 3-4 he would cry if anyone held him but me. Luckily he got over that by month 5-6. He doesn’t sleep through the night, not even close and I had to cut dairy out of my diet. So really I just say to the people who have easy baby’s don’t feel guilty, it’s just how it worked out. If anything, try to offer some support to the moms who are struggling if you can. But don’t feel guilty.

I'm blessed with an angel. When my mother in law says "you don't have to do that, I know how hard it is with a baby." I'm like, life is even easier with the sweetest motivation. 💕 My family is always telling me how lucky am bc he's so happy & sweet. Im just enjoying my sweet baby boy. Mom tells me it's a trick from nature to get you to have another baby. 😄

My baby at home with us is a stark difference when with other people lol 
With others she’s so relaxed, happy, smiling & quiet but at home she’s go go go go- finding anything to put in her mouth & wanting to be held 24/7. I have to shower with her in the bouncer 😂😭
So yes & no.
