Why did my inhaler change?

Hopefully someone knows more about this. So I am an asthmatic and I have to have rescue inhalers.

When I picked it up they told me it had changed and all I asked was “is it the blue one?”

Because it sounds SO stupid but I kid you not, the blue one sucks at dispensing the medication into my lungs. He said no it’s the red one.” And it is. Then I go home and later have to use it.. it works the same way as the stupid blue inhaler. I have to use four puffs instead of 2 because like nothing comes out of it. Gets on the inside of my mouth more than it gets inhaled. It will do for now. But why does this happen? I’ve been using the same pharmacy and have the same insurance nothing has changed, and this inhaler is the same price as the last one. (Copay is $2)

I’m gonna call Monday when they are open and ask why, I just dont like this inhaler and want the one I was getting before because it works better.
