I had sex with a condom and he pulled out I just got my pill in the mail should I be ok to start it

If it’s your first set of pills and you haven’t previously been taking them then you’re supposed to wait until the Sunday after your period ends to start taking them. (Or Atleast thats what my gyno told me to do)
