IUI procedure

I’m super confused because of my symptoms. I had an IUI done last Tuesday (it’s been 8 days)

Around day 5, I started to experience nausea, light cramping, sore breasts. I am supposed to take pregnancy test in 7 days as ordered by my dr. I NEVER ever get symptoms this early for a period. Honestly I never even GET symptoms like these for my period. It makes me wonder if IUI worked but at the same time....isn’t it too early to get pregnancy symptoms like the ones I have ??

I hate the two week wait 😫
