Sleeping Meds While Pregnant

Question

I am used to taking trazodone to help with my insomnia but my husband and I have recently decided to try to get pregnant. 
Is there anyone here who takes sleeping meds during pregnancy? What is considered safe? I tried to stop taking trazodone and start melatonin but it does not help at all!! 😴😴😴 any tips?

Trazadone is very unsafe in pregnancy.

I am on zaleplon. I’m going to stop taking in within the next week to get it out my system. I was pregnant last year and my 7th week visit my doctor told me I should not take it (not the reason why I miscarried- just not good for baby). They recommended Unisom and Vitamin b 12 for sleepiness. I’m the same way as you though. Melatonin doesn’t do anything for me as well. I’ve taken sleeping medicine my entire life! Even though it was kind of a struggle at the same time I was so tired from being pregnant it helped.
