Vaccine Reaction normal?

My son got his 12 month shots 8 days ago and this big red welp where he got the injections just showed up this morning. It feels kinda hard. He’s been more clingy since his shots, but otherwise normal. Not sure if I should call his ped about it or just keep an eye on it. He’s never had this happen before.

Our doc actually warned us this could happen and said it was normal. :)

A couple of my kids got this before.  They ran a low grade fever and they were okay.

I would take a pen and outline it to keep an eye on it. If it continues to worsen I would let the doctor know.

Our doctor said if there's a reaction (to MMR) it typically shows up on day 9!

Did your baby get the MMR? It’s a live vaccine so the reaction will be 9-12 days after the vaccine was given. It will be a rash and/or high fever (102-104) Just keep an eye on it!!
