My husband is afraid long term birth control use may cause infertility in the future! 😩

He has offered to wear condoms and take other measures. He just had this fear that it will affect my body in the future. How can I ease his mind?

I promise he’s not trying to control my body. He’s just concerned.

I am currently taking norethindrone/mini pill. Has anyone used the mini pill for an extensive amount of time and then started trying to get pregnant? How long before you conceived after quitting the pill? Did you have any long term affects? I guess I am wondering if taking the pill long term can affect my fertility in the future? I read about the side effects and saw no issues with infertility after use and I talked to the doctor about this but I just want to hear from others actual experience.
