Do you really think one gender child is easier than the other?

I am a first time mom and we just found out we are having a boy!! 💙 we are so excited. Mostly just happy the baby is healthy and growing. I noticed a LOT of people telling me that “boys are so much easier than girls”

Why do people say this??

While i know raising a son VS a daughter would each come with challenges that are unique i don’t see one out-weighing the other.

Do you think this is an old-school/sexist way of thinking or is there truth to this that i will find as a parent?
