What were symptoms leading up to labor?

I turned 35 weeks on Saturday and this week had already been a whirlwind!

Sunday I started contracting, went to the hospital and went from 1/2cm, 0% effaced, to 2cm dilated, 50% effaced in the matter of an hour. Contractions stalled off and we make no more progress.

Today (Wednesday) we went back to triage because of decreased fetal movement. I’ve barely had any movement from either twin since my contractions died off. However, when I woke up this morning, my belly had dropped and I could feel baby A was SO much lower than yesterday. After a bpp, we were sent home again and they said the babies looked good and that’s all I got. That and a “you probably won’t feel as much movement until you have them because your uterus is so big and they are getting low”

Then I lost my mucus plus about an hour ago.
