Membrane sweep success stories?

So yesterday the doctor stripped my membranes (around 3:45ish) and I did have more contractions and cramping, but ended up sleeping great last night and now I’m worried it won’t work. I was really looking forward to going into labor last night, the doctor said I’m already 3cm (wasn’t even 2 cm two days before) and very soft. 
Any advice to help kick things off? Success stories?

With my last baby I had that exact thing.  Membrane sweep, cramping and some contractions. Went to “lay down and rest” and slept all night with NOTHING! But that was for sure the beginning. He was born within the next day... it was just my body getting started. Not sure if that is how it will be for you, but it was for me!

I had a membrane sweep yesterday - 24 hours ago. Had some spotting since then and that’s it. 
I’m 39w5d, and almost 5 cm dilated as of yesterday

With my last baby I got it done at 39 weeks and 5 days. I was 6 cm dilated at that point as well. The same day she broke it my mucus plug started to come out and it came out at the next day as well. At 40 weeks, I started having inconsistent, mild contractions and they eventually got stronger and stronger. I was able to sleep for about 4 hours but I couldn't sleep thru them anymore. I started to get painful consistent contractions at about 9:30 am at 40 weeks and 1 day and I got to the hospital (15 minutes away) and I was 7 or 8 cm dilated and contractions coming 3-5 minutes apart. I had my daughter at 3:30 pm that same day.

Has the same yesterday morning... Nothing has happened yet. ☹️ And I am already 41 weeks.

Went to the doctors office around 11am on a Thursday and doctor asked if I wanted my membranes swept and of course I said yes or I would have had to be induced by Monday morning. She told me I would have some cramping afterwards but the cramps never stopped. I went into early labor that late afternoon. The contractions didn't get strong until late that Thursday night and got even stronger when we went in around 1:30am. I gave birth to my first daughter at 11:08am Friday morning. I felt like that was a pretty short hospital stay. We stayed 1 more night for all the testing and nursing but if everything is fine this time around.. we are taking our butts home as soon as we're done!
