Why am I late?

Question

So I’m a 16-year-old virgin and I don’t want to have penis-vagina sex at the moment because 1.) I’m not on any birth control and 2.) don’t feel like its right for me right now, however, my boyfriend and I have been experimenting with other stuff
so last week he fingered me for the first time tuesday, and my period was supposed to start friday but since it didn’t so i let him do it again (both times it felt really good but I did not climax). 
Now I’m 6 days late. the only thing he had on his fingers was spit. (I also gave him a hand job friday but he didn’t finish and i didn’t touch myself at all afterwards)
I’ve been stressing about it because i’ve only ever been 1-2 days late, but never 6
is there any reason I should be concerned about this? am i stressing myself out over nothing?

Sometimes you’re just late. Sometimes you just skip a cycle. It’s no big deal. Just keep track. You’re pretty young and it’s normal for young people to have an irregular cycle. As long as you’re tracking it, let a doctor know if you’re concerned about the irregularity. I wouldn’t worry about pregnancy at all. It’s likely just a fluke.

If you weren’t having sex, there’s no chance of pregnancy, anything can throw off your cycle from your diet, exercise, stress, Plan B, birth control, antibiotics, ever since the virus started my cycle has been 10, 15, 20 days late and then four days early, nine days early, I actually had two periods in August. You never know what you’re going to get.when I was younger I would exercise so much that I would not get it the entire summer. But stress is a big one that delays it.

Well we know pregnancy is not an option. Honestly when I started to sexual stuff with my know husband at the age of 16 my body started going through changes. Maybe your period is irregular or beginning to become irregular. It happens, I wouldn’t be too worried.
