At a loss

Baby girl will be two weeks old on Sunday and I had always planned on only taking two weeks maternity leave because right now I’m the only one working due to my husband being laid off from Covid and we couldn’t afford for us to both be off work. Because I work from home my dr agreed to release me but now that it’s been two weeks I don’t want to go back yet. She’s still so little and needs me so much. That and I know she’s only going to be this little for such a short amount of time and I just want to enjoy this stage with her but we are already short on rent for the month and have had to borrow money for two different family members to try and make ends meet and we are still 50 dollars short. If it wasn’t for this god damn virus we would have been fine but it’s seriously screwed us over big time. I just want more time with my baby before I have to be distracted all the time with work. Sorry I just needed to vent.
