How small are you cutting baby’s food?

SO complains I cut the pieces too big, my mom and sister say he should be starting Whole Foods now

Ur size look about right I just keep my eye on him sometime he choke a little of he go fast but other than that he’s fine so I’ll say keep it at that size def wouldn’t do whole food.

You cut the size for whatever works for baby! Take it from someone who has watched their baby choke. Rather be too small, than too big! All babies are different and as long as they are eating food, it’s whatever works for them. Don’t let anyone pressure you into anything else💗

I’d say go with how your baby likes it, if they are happy with those sizes and not choking I don’t see the problem. My daughter doesn’t have many things cut up, she eats sandwich squares, sticks of veg and fruit cut in half, she has some proper front nasher teeth so if I give her a whole babybel she works with it just fine :)

I cut my daughters pretty small because she full on shoves as much food in her mouth as she can! 🤦‍♀️ even after she chokes she doesnt care but lately shes been taking food out of her mouth & playing with it

My baby prefers big pieces. He always picks out the biggest piece he can find, and he’ll flat out refuse to eat anything that I’ve cut up too small. I recently started giving him half of a plum as a snack. I cut obvious choking hazards like tomatoes and grapes into quarters. But for bready things, cheese, and most fruits I’ll give him a big ole piece. He usually realizes when he’s bit off too big of a piece and he’ll spit it out. He’s gagged but never choked.
