What do true contractions feel like when they first start?

How did you feel right before you went into labor?

My contractions felt like mild period cramps at first. My water didn’t break until I got to the hospital and walked for about 30min.

My water broke and my contractions didn’t start until maybe an hour later. The bottom of my belly just got really tight for about 20-30 secs and then it would stop. As time passed them came more frequently and more intense.

I didn’t feel my contracts for 13 hours, my belly would go hard but I didn’t know that’s what was happening, but once my waters broke it was about 45 minutes later I started to feel it and it was just like period pains at first and slowly got more intense

Honestly mine came on strong because my water broke but they felt like the most intense diarrhea cramps I’ve ever had and they were consistent
