I’m guessing that you wash your hair often to combat the oil, which only dries the rest of your hair out more. Try using a boar bristle brush to brush from root to tip, distributing all the oils further down your hair. I got the best hair of my life doing this!

This is typically because of dehydration, hormones and improper PH balance (at least that’s what my sister-in-law hair stylist said about my hair when I asked her the same thing) I also had a pretty bad flaking issue. She recommended biolage clean reset! It should help but use it for like 3 months and see if it makes a difference for you and also drink more water!
