Baby glow worm🐛

My poor baby girl had a paediatrician appointment yesterday and we ended up getting admitted again.

She was testing really high for bilirubin, she has been under the light since around 3 o’clock yesterday, and she is looking sooo much better. She got her levels retested at 7:30pm, they came out much better than when she went in! I’m so mixed up with my emotions.. I want to cry seeing her in the little incubator. But I’m obviously super happy she’s doing better, it sucks when I can only take her out for feeding and that can be no more than one hour.

She keeps snuggling when she’s done eating and it breaks my heart having to take her off my chest and put her back in the incubator.

She gets her third round of blood work done in the morning! Hoping that her levels are way down! 🤞🏻🤞🏻 fingers crossed we can get rid of the jaundice quickly

Anyways this momma is going to TRY and get some more rest. Wish me luck
