VBAC 16 months after C-Section

Has anyone had a successful vbac that was less than 18 months after their previous c-section?

My due date is 16 and 1/2 months after my c section and I am starting to chicken out of the vbac and wonder if I am making the right choice.

My doctor has said it’s ok for me to try even though it’s just shy of the 18 month recommended time frame.

My c section was scheduled for a transverse baby.

This baby is a girl and I expect her weigh in the high 7lb range or just about 8 pounds.

My due date is Sept 15th so I am looking for any advice or for you to share your stories of VBAC ONLY if you had it within 18 months of your section. Thank you!
