Depends - are they disabled? Have we agreed that I’m the provider? Are they in treatment? Is it temporary? Etc

My husband used to work for a family business and loved what he did. Unfortunately the business went under, so being the provider he is, he jumped at the first job that he could get. He hated it and ended up quitting. He tried out several more jobs (went through about 3 or 4 in a span of a year). I got frustrated and thought he was just lazy and didn’t want to work because it wasn’t as easy as working for family. I was wrong. He ended up finding a job he loves and it has great benefits. He didn’t know what he wanted but he managed to find it. So yes,  I would stay with someone who can’t hold a job (and I have), because they might not have found what they wanted yet and they shouldn’t be faulted for that.

I misread the question and answered yes instead of no. I've been in a relationship with someone who could hold a job but for more than a more or so at a time. I ended up having to take 2 jobs until I wised up and gave him an ultimatum.

There’s a difference between having a job & keeping a job! If they can’t keep a job something is wrong with them. I don’t find it hard to keep a job at all! I think it just shows who they are as a person & whether you want that in your life or not

Absolutely not. Money isn’t everything, but I’m not living on a budget and giving my child the bare minimum to pay for your ass. Figure it out or get out.

Nope. My ex-husband was a liability and couldn’t keep a job and I hated the way he ripped me off. I worked all the damn hours and he was faffing about making crappy decisions and holding us back by running up debts and gambling with money we didn’t have. So glad to be with an actual grown up now!

It depends if it's out of pure laziness no. I've had multiple jobs that I didn't like and have quit/found another job before 6m being in.
