I was in the ER for some bleeding a few days ago. The doctor put in my discharge instructions not to have sex or orgasms until I get the okay from my doctor. This was not discussed with me, and neither was most of the stuff when I was discharged. My question is, is that something that is standard that they always say? Most of my “instructions” look pretty generic so I’m not sure.

I am 4w2d and the bleeding cause was not found. It was suspected that it’s early MC, ectopic or normal. The bleeding has 100% stopped, so I’m thinking it was implantation. My beta HCG is 58.

Do you think I should wait to get the okay or do you think it would be safe?
