My COUSIN has been sending me gross messages for the past SEVERALLLL years. He is almost 10years older than me.
When I was 15, he was 23. He touched me inappropriately w/o my consent and tried to have sex w/me multiple times after that. 
I am now 21 years old and still dealing with this loser.
In regards to the gross messages, if I say anything about it like “Stop. I don’t want to talk about that” 
He will attack me and say “we used to be so open, now look at you. You too sensitive. That’s why no one wants to talk to you. You need to grow up! Women always try to put their issues onto men”

Like this kind of information should stay private, no??? What MALE cousin would be okay with sending it to his younger GIRL cousin?? 
Also, for family reasons, I haven’t been able to tell anyone about this because they’ll all blame me...
“Why did you let him touch you???” 
“Why were you around him??”
“Why do you text back??”
“It’s your fault!”
And then, inevitably, both our families would crumble and we’d never be able to see each other again. He has 2 other siblings that I very much value and would hate to lose... :(

I would send everyone his messages. I understand you're thinking about everyone else but you all don't really have a family bond if you can't be open with each other without fear of blame. Also block him and avoid him. If he tries to reach out let him know you'll go to the police for harrassment.

If you have asked him to stop it’s harassment. Depending on your state you might be able to still turn him in for sexually assaulting you.

You should definitely tell your family. Gather more ‘evidence’ in text and show everyone. You have to protect the other young girls in your family because he may be doing it to others but they are scared just like you. Honestly if your family blames you I would not want to be around them, they should have your back.

it’s harassment, it’s sexual abuse, attempted rape/coercion, etc. i would 1. report him 2. tell someone you trust 3. both 1&2
in the meantime, block him on everything. when you feel ready, make your move. what he’s trying to do is manipulate you and make you believe that he deserves some kind of validation and consoling but he is undeserving of that. he’s sick, perverted, a molestar, an abuser (sexual and emotional). 
there will always be someone who believes you, doesnt doubt you, and who will be present during this next step we encourage you to take. however never feel forced into reporting or telling, this is your experience and trauma and you have control here. idk if he’s around other kids, maybe he’s done it to other family members. it’s impossible to know unless he’s exposed and it’s what he deserves. he’s a pedophile, will always be a pedophile.
