Would it be boring if my husband went skydiving alone for his birthday?

My husband has always told me he wants to skydive. I’m pregnant and have a fear of planes so I cant go with him.
His birthdays around the corner and I found a skydiving place nearby that’s rated high $199 plus some fees per person. Since it’s so much I can’t afford to pay for him and his friend, would it be weird if I got it just for him? Would it be boring if it’s just him going up with the instructors?

No, get him the experience and wait on the ground for him. Lots of people do that.

Why don’t you go with him anyway and wait for him to land? That way he’s not completely alone. Ask nearby friends if they have a GoPro he can borrow so he can relive it later on. If not you can always buy one from Best But and return it once you’re done (no restocking fee 😉😂).

My husband always wanted to fly a plane.  I got him a Discovery flight one year for his birthday. I stayed on land and watch him take off and land.  I don’t do planes will so I didn’t go up with him.  Happy I didn’t. He wished I did but he had fun.  I wish I had the time and money because I help him become a pilot because he would love that.  So to answer your question. Go for it. Go with him. Watch him go up and watch him come down. I could never parachute. But I know people that want to.  ￼￼￼

My SIL went alone and still had the time of her life. She was so busy with everything going on around her that she didn't care. There a lot going on that first time. 
Not saying everyone will be the same, it's just something I can share about someone who's done it and their experience. She did mention though if she goes again she wants to see if she could get someone else to go too, and if not she would still go and do it.
