Baby makes noise in sleep??

Okay I am going insane. Baby girl has been making a ton of noise at night. It’s hard to describe, but it’s like she is grunting, moaning, fussing, and at times even a light crying. But her eyes are closed. It’s loud enough that my husband and I cannot sleep through it, and she makes noise every minute or so. Sometimes it’s for a couple of hours and sometimes it’s all night long, even if we feed her and put her back down. I’ve read that they might just be in a light stage of sleep but when it happens all night long it worries me, like she is in pain or she’s really gasy (and we get zero sleep). Ugh. Has this happened to anyone else!?!? Every girl friend I have asked says no so I have no answers.
