How do I use ovulation strips?

In the morning or afternoon? Use with first pee of the day or not? I’m so new to ovulation testing. Any tips will be great!!

You’re actually NOT supposed to use regular OPKs with first morning urine. There are no hard and fast rules though, so if you decide that’s what’s best for you then make sure you wake up at the same time and be consistent. Consistency is key with OPKs.

For your very first cycle try to start testing a few days after the end of your period so you dont accidentally miss it if you tend to ovulate early. 
Also, try to test 2-3x per day when you're in your "fertile window". It's better to test a bit more than usual for your first month to make sure you catch it in case you have a quick surge and miss it. 
The best time of the day to test if you're only testing once per say is in the afternoon. Be sure to not use the bathroom for at least 4hrs before to get an accurate test.
If you're testing multiple times per day it's easier to use first morning urine and then again sometime between 4-7pm. I usually get my strongest positive with my FMU so it depends on the person i guess 🤷‍♀️
