Does baby need iron screening at 1 year?

I just had my baby’s one year checkup and shots last week. Then just now I saw on this app someone asking about the 1 year iron levels screening. Is this standard? We see a family practice doctor and she didn’t do one for my baby. Now I’m wondering if we need one? I have no reason to believe my baby is iron deficient but now I’m kinda worried.

Our son had a CBC and lead test at 15 months. Maybe your dr will do it at the next appt.

My daughter didnt have one. I believe they only do iron screenings for iron deficiency. If your baby's doctor has not done any or mentioned them, then I wouldnt worry about it.

My pcp does lead and hemoglobin level checks at 9m old. 
It is law at least in iowa to check lead levels. It’s easy to check hemoglobin at the same time, as levels deplete after 9m old. (Told to me by my 2nd daughter’s hematologist) 
**comment above: if your baby is deficient in iron how do you know by not checking hemoglobin???

Mine has done it at 15 months, not 12 months for mine.

We did iron and lead at one but iron was because he was deficient at 6 months.
