Best birth control for PCOS?

looking to get on birth control, I was against it but feel like maybe now is the time. I currently take Lexapro for my anxiety and depression. I also have had a history of cystic acne so that makes me concerned with birth control. Please let me know your experience with each birth control you recommend please ❤️

I swear this oil up an down for acne. But as far as bc goes, Larissia (April) is the worst when it comes to acne. I would suggest a form of Yaz or even Yasmin if you’re worried about cystic acne. If you’re working to treat PCOS, a minipill might work better for you but it does tend to worsen acne (which is treatable with the supplement above). It’s all about figuring out your body and it’s responses. You can also do a hormone test to figure out which one is right for you. Best of luck!
