Found out today at my 20weeks scan I have a posterior low lying placenta. I'm worried sick something bad will happen. Does anyone have any info or experience in this??

I had one. It typically resolves itself. Mine took until 34 weeks, but "moved" far enough it's not a concern.

I never did. Started out about 1 cm from cervix. Doctor had no restrictions for me.

I had one at 20 weeks, it was 1cm away. By 32 weeks it was at 6cm and no longer a problem.

I have a planned one booked in anyway as my last babies were section, I'm too bothered about that side of it luckily. Just the run up- hope nothing goes wrong :-(

It's covering the cervix? That's caked placenta previa and is different. With a low lying placenta your ob or midwife might still consider a vaginal birth. If you have previa and it doesn't resolve the only option is a c-section. Good luck!
