Would you use the same middle name?

My husband and I love roses. We bond by gardening and taking care of them. Every time I see a rose i think of him/us. I would love to use it as our babys middle name. Unfortunately, its also my nieces middle name. Would you still use it?

Honestly, although it has meaning to you Rose is one of those commonly generic middle names like Grace, Anne (mine), Lynn, etc. Even if it weren’t, I don’t think it’s a big deal to use the same middle name as someone else.

Honestly Rose is SUCH a common middle name that I really don't think it matters in this situation. If it was something really uncommon and unique then maybe I wouldn't go there but qith something like Rose or Grace or Mae I think it's fine.

5 generations of women on my dads side have the name Ann as a middle name. Including cousins etc, Go for it!

I don't see anything wrong with it but I personally couldn't because of my relationship with my brothers. I wouldn't copy their baby's name no matter how much I liked it. But I don't know your relationship... Maybe just ask how they'd feel about it?
Our youngest has the middle name rose! I know it's generic but i still love it!!
