Twins?!

Question

Any moms familiar with their hcg levels early on with twins?? I got my first positive test one week ago, a day after my implantation bleeding. My first quant was 171 taken on Thursday. It should double every 2 days about, which brings me to what should be around 684 today. Got my results back.....1400!! 1400!!!! My moms a twin and has twin brothers. Holy man! Any insights ladies???

My first draw at 4 weeks exactly was 1697 !! I was like WHAT?! im doing another one tomorrow. So im also curious about this.

The fact that it runs in your family definitely puts you at a higher probability.  My symptoms were wayyyyyy more intense with my twins; fatigue, exhaustion, the morning sickness was all day sickness. I suspected twins because of it all and I was right so your instinct very well may be too!

So it looks like I’m closer to 5 weeks than 6! They could only see the sac and a fetal pole but at least we know it’s in my uterus and not my tube!!

I don’t know much about the relationship between HGC and twins, but twins (non-identical ones at least) are hereditary, so you definitely have a better chance than others! Non-identical twins also run on both sides of my family (my dad was a twin and my mom’s extended family has quite a few twins), so I’m curious! That would be a fun challenge!
