Bruised vagina after c section??

I had a c section 11 days ago and I just now noticed my vagina is purple! Is this normal??

Yes...the baby was placing downward pressure on that area for months and you have had tons of extra blood flow to it too

When I had my c section I ended up bruising from hip to hip and belly button to vagina
Turns out I had internal surface bleeding in a couple places across my stomach which resulted in an infection 
I’d ask your doctor to make sure everything is ok!
A lot of my girlfriends have had c sections and they never bruised 🤷🏼‍♀️
