Nutrition at 14 months
I stopped breastfeeding at 7 months since I dried up and we gave formula until our daughter was a year then switched to whole milk. How long does she need milk specifically? She eats a variety of foods and I make sure she gets enough of all the major food groups each day. We have tried to switch to a cup for milk but she has a habit of shaking it around so we kept her on a bottle with a sippy top that doesn't spill as easy.
My question isn't about when to switch to a sippy cup, more about the amount of milk she needs each day. We give 8oz three times a day and sometimes she'll do all 8 at one feeding and not at another or other days she doesn't finish a bottle for all her feedings. Whole milk ain't cheap! Kind of hurts to toss it down the drain. I'd rather her take what she needs but it's been kind of a guessing game. Kind of in a holding pattern also to figure out how much she'll take but also keeping in mind how much she needs each day for nutrition. Any advice?
Thanks in advance ❤️
