How soon is too soon?

For mommies that have had an c-section, how long after did you wait before ttc again? Were you able to give birth naturally without having to have another c-section?

My doctor recommended for me to wait 1 year before ttc. She says I’ll most likely be able to attempt a vbac unless the next baby is breech or measuring super huge or something like that.

18 months and/or until fully cleared by your doctor. I waited two years and all is running smoothly, but doctors are still very on it and checking on it.

I got pregnant 18mpp, my doctor did tell me to wait 2 years though. Now she's saying I still have hope for a smooth vbac.

Our son was 18 months when we conceived. We weren’t trying. I had a repeat section due to a blood disorder.

We started ttc at 10 months pp. I got pregnant at 14 months pp. I had a c-section, but I was going to get another one anyways because my pelvis is too small and narrow. I would have had the option to deliver vaginally if I were normal though.
