Hi ladies I don’t have insurance so everything is private pay and I went today to go get my blood drawn to check for any abnormalities with baby and I thought gender as well. I got a call from doctors office from one of the nurses asking me if I was informed what the test was for and that it was not for gender as I had been previously told. Which is a bummer cause it’s another additional cost and it didn’t include everything I had been made to think. They told me they would tell me the gender during my next ultrasound in 4 weeks which I’ll be 18 weeks 6 days. Anyways I just wanted to ask what do you ladies recommend a sneak peek test or a private scan to find out gender at around 18 weeks. I’m looking into trying to have my husband there but he’s not allowed in so I figured I could go to a place that just does scans cause they will let him in but I want to know what is more reliable the sneak peek or the ultrasound scan at a scanning place?
