Bottled water for formula ?

I know this is a stupid question, but can i use poland spring bottles water for baby formula ? I asked the doctor when i left the nicu if i could use water from the water dispenser that i have and she said yes, that i could even use tap water if i wanted. But now i read on google that mineral water is a no, and poland spring is a mineral water. So can i use it or is google making me crazy ?

Use purified water or nursery water. With all these things going with the tap water system, heavy metals and lead, I would avoid it as much as possible. Even more so if you haven’t had your water tested. Don’t assume your tap water can be trusted, there can be bacteria and metals in there. They’re only on formula for a while and nursery water is $0.99. Don’t use the tap, spring water is not recommended for infants because of mineral overdose. I wouldn’t do it.

I just tap with my first born.. I gave birth to him at 33weeks he weighed 4.16 at 16in long.. right now hes 13 and is 5'11..I think he doing just great

Yeah any water should be fine. Even tap water has minerals in it.

Just depends. My tap water is horrible. I would never use it for baby. I always bought a jug of distilled. But I think you can use pretty much any water.

We used tap for my daughter, she’s 5 now. We have town water and it was fine back then. But lately the water has been HEAVY with choline smell and it started making my dogs vomit so we will be getting bottled or just water for the twins when they come. Poland spring is my personal favorite water, but I was always told not to use mineral waters. I’ll probably just get the 99c gallons of drinking water from Walmart for them.

We used tap water with my first and will be doing it again this go around. I think/thought the concern with tap was if it's an old enough house, there could be lead in the pipes. Our house was built in 2007 so we're not worried.
Bottled water should be fine though!
