Okay ladies is this a terrible idea? 😂

I got my hair done like three ish months ago and asked for a dark root that blended into a lighter blonde. I wanted the dark root so it matched my natural hair so I could let my hair go unattended for awhile since I’m about to be a new mom! However she went light blonde all up to my root so now as you can see my root is coming in terribly 🤦🏼‍♀️ (I swear my hair isn’t this greasy it’s the sun😂) I have to save every penny so I can have $$ while out of work so I do not have $$ to get my hair done professionally. I’m thinking I want to buy a dark blonde box or whatever my root is, and add lowlights throughout my hair to blend it more. Terrible idea?? Any suggestions??
