Do you like the name Hana (HAH-NUH...like Lana with an H)?

My husband and I love this name so much. Reminds us of our favorite place in the world - Hawaii. The only problem is that it seems like most people would pronounce it like Hannah, although it’s actually an entirely different name. I don’t want my child to spend her life correcting people, but sometimes I wonder if that would be so bad? She’d most likely correct people once and then they’d know it moving forward... 🤷🏻‍♀️ Thoughts?

Not a fan, but possibly just because I'm Finnish, and in Finnish "hana" means a tap (as a tap on your kitchen sink).. In Japanese it means a flower, tho.

I know someone named this!  But I believe the conventional spelling is Hanna. It’s pretty common around the world with two Ns.

Personally, I love it. I think you should go for it, it's so beautiful, it was on my list too, though I spelled it with two "n" 's (but with the same pronunciation? ☺️❤️

I always agree with the proposed names on this app unless its like "Anal" or something truly terrible. The fact is that it is your baby and her name should be decided by only you and your hubby! Something that is beautiful and meaningful for you two. 
I saw someone propose the name were naming my daughter (Juniper) on this app and it wasn't met with stellar love the way we love it and that's okay! No one on here are going to ever meet our babies IRL so who cares!? I have had to correct people trying to call her Jennifer based on how it sounds and not written obviously but my name is Tessa and I still have to correct its pronunciation. 🤷‍♀️ I think its unavoidable really. 
What matters is that the name is meaningful for you and your SO!

Hannah is the traditional spelling. 
"Hana" looks like some kind of acronym, doesn't look like a name at all in all honesty.
