need some advice

so i’m a very affectionate person like i just crave it that’s how i feel better wether it’s hugs or just holding my hand or just me touching you. so my boyfriend he doesn’t like that like he is always on the game he never wants to show me affection unless he want sex or only when he feels like it.. and today i was hugging him and he told me to get off bc he didn’t feel like being “lovey dovey” is it wrong for me to be upset about this bs my feelings are genuinely hurt and he told me before i didn’t know what personal space is. like i’m trying to do better and respect how he feels but he doesn’t consider how i feel. it isn’t like this all the time well it is it’s very rare that i ever get the affection i be wanting. what do i do?
