You probably have a sensitivity to the fragrance, you can use any lotion really. Doesnt have fo be specifically stretch mark lotion; you just need a 24 hr moisturerizer

I use it and have no problems as far as itching wise. I didn’t get stretch marks until maybe 32 weeks but they are light and not dark
