Are baby books even a “thing” anymore?

Question

Thinking of making one for my daughter but I’m definitely not a creative/crafty person and I’m not sure if she’ll even want one when she’s older

I did a baby book and scrapbook for my 2 boys. I havent been able to find one for baby girl yet. They seem so hard to find these days. But she Will have one too.

I have a really large scrap book I started. First page is ultrasound photos, then pictures of me and hubby through out the pregnancy. Nothing fancy. Just a piece of paper, pictures, and with a sharpie I wrote the date and what I've been craving. 
I dont like the question books because then you have to take the time to answer the questions and my husband's baby book is mostly empty. Versus a scrapbook because, let's be honest, you're going to be taking pictures anyway! Plus pictures say more than those questions. I figured I'd add pictures for her birthday every year and we can go through it together annually.

I got a persons baby book. I just had to fill out the pages. I wasn’t very good at that though.

I have a record book, a scrap book and a first year photo album.  The scrap book just has my bump photos, ultrasounds and has 2 pages for each month of my daughter's life, including her pictures with her month stickers.  
The record book had questions for me to answer and the photo album is pretty straight forward.

I bought one for pregnancy and one for baby and didn’t touch either 🤭
But I did use an app where you can put a pic or video every day. One Second Every Day. I ended up with a precious ten minute video of my kids first year basically watching him grow up and it was awesome.  Maybe you could find an app journal or something like this. Easier to fill in when nursing or baby sleeping on you lol

I like doing Shutterfly books for a baby book. It's pretty easy, they have books that are already laid out and baby themed. All you do is add pics and a bit of info like dates and such.
I also do a calendar style baby book. It's all blank, starts once baby is born, has stickers. I keep it hung up in baby's room with a pen attached so I can add stuff whenever.

I had a baby book, but never filled it in. Time got away from me. Working on her first year photo book now. For me personally, as an adult, I’d rather have a photo book from when I was a kid than a baby book with milestones

ofc ! it’s a cool thing to have my mom has one for me and all of my siblings i go back and read it every now n then but she has it put away for her to keep. if your daughter doesn’t want it when she’s older you will always have those memories written down for you.

I just bought one that had questions for me to answer. I’m not creative either. I enjoy looking through my baby book. I think it will be cute for my children to have them.

I made the baby book more for myself than for my daughter. I know she’ll enjoy reading through it maybe once or twice, but I’ll probably cherish more than she will lol. I ordered one off of amazon.
