Is my sex drive gone forever? Starting to get really depressed and upset

I was on lexapro for 3 days, yesterday I stopped taking it because of the side effects were making me feel awful. But I cant get aroused how long will this last? I don't enjoy masturbation and I can't orgasm. It's like all of my nerves have been numbed and nothing feels good. I'm 17, I'm young and this is so frustrating. I feel broken.

A side effect of lexapro does involve the sex drive. I've never heard of anyone having a higher drive after taking...hut it is certainly possible. Most people's sex drive tanks upon administration, and if this is a side effect for you then it will last the duration that you are on the medication.
I can understand how this might cause alarm. Speak with your doctor and see if there is a different medication he can prescribe that dosent cause this.

it takes about a month for an SSRI to fully enter your system, you shouldn’t be feeling that after 3 days. it’s always worth asking your healthcare professional
