They were different. The acute pain was a little less with the 2nd, but the overall recovery and surgical burn lasted longer with my 2nd.

I’ve had three, and pregnant with another now. 
They were no worse than the previous with any of them, other than my emergency c section. It was horrific. 
But the recovery was just about the same with all of them, minus the sever bruising from the emergency.
