Is it weird that my Dr didn't check my cervix at my last appt at 37weeks....I assumed they usually checked it....it doesn't bother me that he didn't i just assumed he would

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't at this point. May be a bit too early to check plus checking can introduce bacteria, which can cause infections.

Most won't check if you aren't contracting and/or losing your mucus plug.

I'm 37 weeks and I haven't gotten checked either. Which I'm okay with cause I've heard people get irritated and bleed or it's really uncomfortable for them afterwards😳

Mine doesn't start checking until your 38 weeks.
