Preterm labor signs?

Has anyone gone into pre term labor around 30 weeks? What were your signs??

I didn't have any signs. I went for an ultrasound and was sent to l&d for 24 hour observation. I was having contractions and didn't even know it. I was 31 weeks when I found out. I am currently 34 w 2 days.

I was 33w6d. My uterus felt like it was stuck in a contraction -- just really hard and tight. I also felt a LOT of pelvic pressure. I went in and was monitored for all of ten minutes before they saw the contractions were actually coming and going -- I just couldn't feel it. I was 3 cm dilated and 50% effaced. I wouldn't have gone in unless a friend of mine told me to get up and go now! 
Thankfully they were able to stop labor, but for the next three weeks (my daughter was born at 37w3d), I couldn't be on my feet for more than 20 minutes before I'd start contracting again, I couldn't pick up my son,  and my uterus was just tight all the time. 
If you're at all worried about it, it's best to go in and get checked.

I was violently I'll all the time. And a sensation that I knew something was terribly wrong. I simply requested the doctors checked me over and they did each time. All 4 of my babies were premie. I am pregnant with my last and I will be watched even closer this time.
