So I'm 39 weeks and even though this pregnancy hasn't been bad and has been very healthy and I've been very fortunate to not be miserable the entire time, my husband and I both decided that it would be best to go on birth control after our son is born.

The only method I have been on was depo provera and that is NEVER going to be an option again because it took me over a year to get pregnant after stopping it, and any form of implants is going to be a hard NO.

I've considered taking the pill and he also agreed to use condoms WHEN I could have sex again but I'm scared. I'm not scared that I will miss a dose or get pregnant, I'm scared that any form I choose will cause issues like last time and I when we decide to try for baby #2 IF we do I'm worried it will cause issues.

I know the only thing I can do is consult my obgyn about my worries and talk about forms of birth control that would be right for me, but are there different types of the pill and what are some of your experiences? Did it make it harder to get pregnant after stopping it? Any advise would be appreciated
